Housing Programs

Our housing programs are designed to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing options for eligible individuals and families within our community. Through a combination of public housing, rental assistance programs, and supportive services, we work to promote housing stability, self-sufficiency, and quality of life.

We administer programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and follow all federal fair housing and accessibility requirements. Each program has specific eligibility criteria, application processes, and participant responsibilities

Whether you are seeking housing, currently receiving assistance, or are a landlord or community partner, our goal is to ensure fair access, clear communication, and responsive service throughout every stage of participation

Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program

The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program helps eligible individuals and families rent housing in the private market. Participants may choose a unit that meets program requirements, and the PHA pays a portion of the rent directly to the landlord

The amount of assistance is based on household income, family size, and local rent standards. Participants typically pay a portion of the rent, while the voucher helps cover the remaining cost.

The program promotes housing choice and mobility, allowing families to live in neighborhoods that best meet their needs. All assisted units must meet HUD’s Housing Quality Standards before assistance can begin.

Public housing communities are designed to offer safe, well-maintained homes while supporting long-term housing stability. Residents sign a lease with the PHA and are responsible for complying with lease requirements and community policies

This program is funded and regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and follows all federal fair housing and accessibility standards.
